Following the successful launch, setup, and delivery of a pilot project, (which involved securing some initial funding; developing all the processes, procedures and training materials; recruiting and training volunteers; and supporting households), our ambition is to now take New Leaf Derbyshire to the next stage of development, recruiting and training additional volunteers to support an increasing amount of households.

To achieve this, we need to raise funds to cover the cost of recruitment, training, volunteer expenses, tools, materials, furniture, storage and equipment.

We are delighted to be providing much-needed support for people in households across Derby and Derbyshire and feel privileged to be developing positive relationships with the most wonderful people; including volunteers, households, referrers, and those who have become friends of New Leaf Derbyshire.

In response to many people asking us about ways in which they could help us to flourish and to support more households, we have thought carefully, and whilst we are proud to be able to offer our services without charge, and no household is obliged to contribute financially to the care and support they receive from us, our resources are stretched and more is needed to be done.

There are various ways to help and support us…

Become a Volunteer!! We have households just waiting for someone to help them. With so many different tasks, we can find you a perfect match for the things you like to do.

Do you have a larger vehicle that you would be willing to use to help us dispose of bulky items at a when necessary?

Would you be willing to help raise awareness of New Leaf Derbyshire by chatting to friends and colleagues, following – liking and sharing Facebook/Instagram posts and sharing our leaflet to be displayed in places you visit?

Have you got tools in safe, working order that you would be willing to donate?

Do you have links with a company or business who we may be able to collaborate with in the form of sponsorship or partnership working?
