We are supporting a very special gentleman who has very little in the way of possessions and is experiencing extreme loneliness. For him, a love of music and his extensive collection of CDs is exceptionally important to him. Many people would say, ‘too many, dispose!’ But not New Leaf Derbyshire…We have a huge amount of respect and understanding. We are incredibly fortunate to have an absolutely wonderful volunteer who is making a bespoke shelving system, to not only store the CDs, safely, but making them accessible too, which resolves the risk of trips and hazards around the home.
